Eye Care Tiips

Eye: Eyes are one of the most important sensory organs of our body and often also the most neglected by the people. This is that part without which nobody can see the beauty of this world.

The eyes are the windows to the soul. To that we may add that the eyes are also indicators of our health in general, the condition of our nervous system and the capacity of our mental concentration. We have six sets of eye muscles: to look up, down, sideways and for rotatory movements. Out of these, we tend to use only a few muscles resulting in the overuse of some and the atrophy (wasting) of others.

Our body can only feel, how it looks like is the work of eyes. We can say blindness is the most dreaded disability of mankind because without eye people can feel only but unable to see what is the size and shape of that thing.

Eye Care Tips:-
    * For beautiful and attractive eyes
 Vitamin A is essential for eyes. Make your diet rich with this vitamin to keep your eyes bright and clear. Take papaya, eggs, fish, milk etc in maximum quantity.
    * Don’t forget to wash your face and eyes before sleeping. There should not be any type of make up on your face. It will be better if you don’t apply any cream before sleeping as it will be there for whole night. Be natural.
    * Wash your eyes at least 10 times a day with cold water to maintain your eyesight.
    * Take a good night sleep helps your eyes.
    * Wear a good quality sunglasses which protect your eyes from UV rays while going out in the sun.
    * Apply pure castor oil for the eyebrows before going to bed for good growth.
    * If you are facing with puffiness in your eyes then grate a potato without peeling it and apply this on your eyelids for 20 minutes and let your eye muscles relax.
    * Wear plain glasses while doing work that generates dust.
    * Dark circles is the common disease from which most of the people suffer, takeout some time from your busy schedule to put sliced cucumber or potato to reduce these dark circles. Cucumber will refresh your eyes as well.
    * Take dry amla and soak it in a cup if water overnight and next morning, strain this water and add another cup of fresh water into it. Wash your eyes with this to get sparkling eyes.
    * Amla is great for eyesight. It can be taken in various forms- can be taken as raw, amla pickle, amla murabba, amla juice to name a few. The best one is soak amla overnight and in the morning use this water to wash your eyes. It will help you a lot.
    * If your eyes have become red or you are feeling itchy then, massage your scalp with oil or curd.
    * Another option is to soak some cotton warm water or milk and keep this cotton on closed eyes for 15 to 20 minutes. It will be better to do this exercise in the morning.
    * Make a routine for eye relaxation exercise for 5-10 minutes a day. Focus on an object that is 1.5 foot far from your eyes.
    * Read in good light and keep a good distance while watching television.
    * Rub your palms together and cover your eyes with palms to relax then .
    * In the evening when your eyes are totally tired, dip cotton in chilled water or milk and place this on closed eyes for relaxation.
    * If dirt comes in your eyes avoid to rub this will cause the dirt to stick inside. Blink you eyes regularly start your tears flowing and this will flush out the dirt.
      For Puffy Eyes
    * Dip a cotton pad in chilled milk before boiling and place this on eye lids for 10-15 minutes.
    * Add few drops of Vitamin E oil in bowl of cold water and dip cotton pad in it for five minutes and place this cotton on eyes for 20 minutes.
    * For puffy eyes take 2 used tea bags in the refrigerator in morning and then in evening  place the tea bags on your eyes for a few minutes as you relax.
      Computer Professionals
    * For better focusing while doing on computer look at a distant away object and blink several times after every 20-30 minutes.
    * Try to blink 12 to 15 times in a minute to get rid of dry eyes.
    * Wash your face in breaks which keep you fresh and helps in cooling your eyes.
    * Take a few minutes of walk increases blood supply to your eyes.
    * Rub your palms against each other till you feel them warm and warmth of your palms helps soothe and relax tired eyes. Then, lightly cup your eyes with your palms and relax for 60 seconds.


Exercise for the eyes:-

    * Sit down and relax. Breathe normally, and look at a spot between your eyes, above the bridge of your nose. Keep looking at this spot for a count of five, and then relax the eyes. Next look at the tip of your nose, also to the count of five and relax. This exercise will ease the stress and tension and will relax your eyes.
    * Sit down and relax and look straight in front of you. Inhale and look right as far as possible, without turning your head. Slowly come to the original position and exhale. Repeat the same method for the left side. Do this exercise three times.
    * Sit up straight and look down. Slowly inhale and start rolling your eyes to the right and then to the top, in a circular movement. When your eyes have reached the top, looking towards your eyebrows, start exhaling while moving your eyes left and downwards in a circular movement. Repeat three times
    * Without turning your head, focus your eyes on left shoulder. Remain like this for as long as you can. Then close your eyes and relax. Repeat this sequence with the right shoulder.
